Looking to become a member of East End Christian Church?
We recognize God's plan of salvation in the New Testament as including...
- Hearing the Gospel
- Faith, or believing on the Lord Jesus Christ as the only begotten Son of God
- Repentence by turning from sin to follow Christ
- Confessing faith in Christ publicly
- Baptism, or immersion into Christ, in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost (spirit) for the forgiveness of our past sins and to receive the Holy Spirit as a gift from God. Followed by Christian living and being faithful to Christ until death.
The New Testament scriptures certify these facts and the order of obedience.
At the close of each service everyone is given an opportunity to come forward and complete whatever still remains to be done to become saved. If one has already obeyed the Lord as stated
above, and is not a member of this congregation but would like to be, they may come forward at the singing of the invitation hymn. After the hymn they may declare their desire to be a member by statement.
